Call for Entries - Books for Young People
We cordially invite you to review our Christopher Awards Backgrounder and our most recent winners’ list, and submit your 2010 nonfiction and fiction titles that fit our criteria at your earliest convenience.
To be eligible, books for young people must be original titles published in the 2010 calendar year. There are no entry forms for you to fill out and no entry fees. Simply send four (4) copies of each title (as directed below) with a press kit, press release or catalog copy. Readers' galley proofs are not acceptable.
Send two (2) copies of each title (plus press kit/release or catalog copy) immediately upon publication to:

Your 2010 books will be reviewed by a panel of reading and subject specialists and will be read by specially supervised children's reading groups. The 62nd annual Christopher Awards will be presented in New York City, in Spring 2011, to writers, producers, directors and illustrators in the publishing, film, broadcast TV and cable industries.

Reminder! We read submissions continually throughout the year, so please add Judith Trojan, Sr. Gilmary Speirs, Karen Lavery and Mary Anne Ford to your ongoing Awards mailing list and send appropriate titles as soon as they are published. Be sure to send your seasonal catalogs as well. |
